Project Overview

New two storey premier spa and associated external works.  Design and construction of a new premier quality spa and associated services and external works together with the integration of the Employer’s furniture, fittings and equipment.

The building is a steel frame construction framed with SFS, finished with slate and insulated render facades, windows and doors are of aluminium construction with double glazed units, the roof is a timber truss and cold rolled steel construction covered in single ply membrane and concrete tiles.

The ground floor consists of treatment rooms, relaxation rooms, reception, vitality pool, steam rooms, saunas, staff relaxation areas, client waiting room, various WC’s, laundry room, ice room and plant room.

The first floor consists of laundry drop, male and female changing areas, manipedi room, central circulation space, Helix staircase leading to the ground floor, bar and seating areas, commercial kitchen, staff access and egress staircase, café bar external terrace and plant room.

External areas consist of external plant room, bin store, garden stores and associated courtyard, 3 hot tubs, 1 external vitality pool, external bar and associated plant room, external sauna and associated plant room, fire pit with shade sail cover, 5 relaxation pods, decorative artificial grass and landscaped gardens. Duration 78 weeks.
