Gym Refrubishment

Phase One of the refurbishment at Oakengates Leisure Centre includes bringing new life to the gym by replacing old windows with sleek curtain walling sections and removing the asbestos cladding. Paired with a deep clean and full refurbishment, the gym now has a vibrant, rejuvenated atmosphere! This section of the scheme was handed over in February 2024. 

Pool Area Refurbishment

This project involves the decarbonization of the existing swimming pool to allow for improved energy-efficiency and achieve lower operating costs. This will be achieved by installing new glazing and making adaptations to the ceiling above the pool after treatment of the existing steel frame. A new mechanical and electrical package includes a new HV power inlet to heat pumps on a new external slab area.
