Project Overview

This project was the construction of a 1400m2 bespoke production facility for Zip Clip Limited, incorporating 470m2 of ground and first floor offices. Zip Clip specialise in the manufacture and innovation of high specification suspension systems and many of the company’s products were used throughout the completed building.

The structure was a steel frame, and was clad in Kingspan panels, all in the companies branded colours. There was a mezzanine floor deck, to part of the building which housed further office space.

There were extensive external works, which included four different finishes and included landscaping, fencing, drainage – which included SUDS for the disposal of the surface water from the development.

The project was procured via competitive tender under the NEC3 D&B contract. Pave-Aways coordinated and led the consultant team which were novated. Additional benefits were provided to the local community as part of the works. Duration 29 weeks.
