This project involved the extension of the existing school hall under a JCT Design and Build Contract, completed over a 30-week period. Key works included expanding the hall space, mechanical and electrical upgrades, and the installation of sustainable energy solutions such as a photovoltaic system and air source heat pump (ASHP). Enhanced ceiling insulation was also added to improve thermal efficiency and year-round comfort.
To accommodate the expansion, existing storage sheds were relocated and repositioned. The project delivers improved functionality, energy efficiency, and reduced operational costs for the school, aligning with sustainability goals.
