Project Overview

Following the successful completion of 4 other projects at the College we were appointed to carry out the alterations to the main campus building on London Road. The works were carried out whilst the College remained fully operational – from 8am to 8pm

The works involved demolition, alterations and new build in various areas around the campus. These were split into nine phases and included the refurbishment of office and teaching space, the creation of the hair and beauty department, the formation of the new entrance and the re-siting of the refectory and student social spaces. All external fenestration was replaced.

There was a great deal of change involved in this project. There was close liaison with College and their design team to ensure that we understood their requirements, and delivered a project that exceeded their expectations

Externally, we redeveloped the College grounds. There was reconfiguration to the external space at both the front and rear of the main building. Duration 23 weeks.
