Our team is Pave Aways’ greatest asset, and we were thrilled to celebrate their achievements at our annual Christmas party.
Continuing our long-standing tradition, we were proud to recognise five individuals for their significant contributions to the business this past year.
The Employee of the Year award was presented to Sabrina Davies, our brilliant Training and Welfare Manager, who is also celebrating seven years at Pave Aways today! Sabrina’s dedication to the development and wellbeing of our workforce has been invaluable, and her passion for supporting colleagues shines through in everything she does.
Jimmy Pringle was named Colleague of the Year, an accolade voted for by our employees. Jimmy, a multi-skilled operative, is a key member on our sites, always ready to go the extra mile and lend a helping hand, earning the respect and admiration of his peers.
Our Apprentice of the Year award went to Lloyd Hart, who is studying for his Level 3 Apprenticeship in Site Carpentry. Lloyd has shown tremendous growth and skill development throughout his apprenticeship, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic that sets him apart.
Rob Keyland, our Company Buyer, was once again recognised with the Neil Holding Memorial Award. This special award, named after a former colleague, honours those who go above and beyond in their roles. Rob’s unwavering support, knowledge, and commitment to our supply chain make him an indispensable part of the Pave Aways team.
Finally, the Dave Garratt Memorial Award was presented to apprentice site manager, Oli Roberts. Oli’s positive attitude and friendly demeanor have made a real impact on everyone he works with. He’s known for brightening up even the busiest of days and is a true team player.
Managing Director Steven Owen said: “Presenting these awards is always a highlight of the year. It’s fantastic to see the hard work, dedication, and passion our team brings to the job recognised in this way.
“These awards are about celebrating the individuals who have gone above and beyond, but they also reflect the incredible collective effort that makes Pave Aways the company it is today. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a talented and committed group of people.”
