The Pave Aways team have voted to support the fantastic Lingen Davies Cancer Fund for our Charity of the Year 2025!
This fantastic charity makes a profound impact across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and Mid-Wales, helping people affected by cancer to “live life well – before, during, and after cancer.” Their work focuses on improving awareness, encouraging early support, and providing vital services to those in need.
Naomi Atkin, CEO of Lingen Davies, shared her appreciation for the new partnership: “We are delighted that Pave Aways has chosen us as their charity of the year. Having corporate partners is an essential part of our fundraising efforts.
We have ambitious plans to continue to deliver the best quality care for cancer patients in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and Mid-Wales. Lingen Davies supports a range of programmes, services, and equipment across the cancer journey, from screening to treatment and post-diagnosis.
Having charity partners like this makes a real, tangible difference to people’s lives, and we are very grateful to Pave Aways for choosing us for 2025.”
Reflecting on the new partnership, Victoria Lawson, Commercial Director at Pave Aways, said: “Our team is incredibly proud to partner with Lingen Davies as our Charity of the Year.
Many of us have seen firsthand the difference their support makes, and we’re committed to working together to fundraise for this essential cause. Through events, initiatives, and team efforts, we look forward to making a meaningful impact for those affected by cancer in our community.”
This announcement follows a successful year of fundraising for West Mercia Search & Rescue, where our team raised a total of £10,143. Building on this success, a dedicated charity committee made up of volunteers from Pave Aways will lead the way in organising events and initiatives throughout 2025 to support Lingen Davies.
Keep an eye out for our upcoming fundraising events!
