Introducing the fantastic four new apprentices

We’re delighted to welcome four new apprentices to the Pave Aways team – further consolidating our ongoing commitment to investing in local talent.

These apprentices represent the future of our industry, and we are looking forward to providing them with the support and guidance they need to build industry skills as a foundation to their careers in construction.

Aaron Pritchard, who joined us in January as a labourer, is now pursuing a NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry with Shrewsbury Colleges Group.

We are also pleased to introduce three new faces to our team: Harrison Roberts, from Telford, Luke Foskett, from Shrewsbury, and Josh Measor, from Wem, all join as Property Maintenance apprentices, studying for their NVQ Level 2 qualification with SBC Training.

Steven Owen, Managing Director, welcomes the new apprentices: “Bringing on board these four apprentices is an investment in the future of construction in the region. I’m eager to see our team share their expertise while the apprentices learn skills for life.”

Training and welfare manager Sabrina Davies said: “All four new apprentices will be supported by our experienced team and get a chance to learn practical skills on our live building sites alongside studying at college.”

We are honoured to have been shortlisted for the ‘Medium Employer of the Year’ award at the inaugural Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Apprenticeship Awards. The event, set to take place on the 3rd of October at the Mercure Telford Centre Hotel, is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the importance of apprenticeships in our region.

In addition, Pave Aways are sponsoring the ‘Construction Apprentice of the Year’ category. We believe that the future of construction in the region relies on passing on practical skills to the next generation, ensuring that our industry continues to thrive.
