Pave Aways is once again lending its support to the Shropshire Business Awards as headline sponsor of this year’s eco award.
The awards, hosted by Shropshire Chamber, are open to all businesses with a base in Shropshire or Telford & Wrekin, regardless of whether they are members.
The eco award, which will be decided by a panel of judges including our commercial director Victoria Lawson, will be presented to an environmentally aware business that promotes innovative practices, processes or technology including:
- Embracing green technology to lower the carbon footprint
- Promoting or producing eco-friendly products and services
- Evidence of successful green initiatives and programmes
- Cross-company commitment to make a difference
- Substantial and quantifiable improvements in environmental and commercial performance
As previous winners of the Company of the Year and Education and Training awards, we know what winning a Shropshire Business Award means to a business and its team.
Managing director Steven Owen said: “We are committed to being as sustainable as possible within Pave Aways and are on our own journey to reduce our effect on the environment so we are delighted to be supporting the eco category this year.
“It’s very important that every business is taking steps to do the same and I am sure there are lots of organisations in the county doing great things to be more sustainable. It’s only right that we can support and celebrate those who are making an effort to go the extra mile.”
