More ‘considerate constructors’ have been recognised with two of our sites receiving top scores for their commitment to construction excellence.
The team installing a new third generation sports pitch and floodlighting at Llanfyllin Sports Centre in Mid Wales received full marks from the Considerate Constructors Scheme to gain an outstanding rating. And our site near Albrighton, where we’re building an integrated therapeutic learning centre with associated children’s homes for a private provider, was labelled as excellent.
The Considerate Constructors Scheme is a non-profit making, independent organisation set up by the construction industry in 1997 to improve its image. Sites are judged on how they rate against the scheme’s Code of Considerate Practice including how they respect the community, care for the environment, and value their workforce with extra marks given for innovations and best practices.
Construction director Jamie Evans said: “Congratulations to our teams that are not only working hard to deliver the highest possible standard of construction excellence for our clients but doing so in an ethical and responsible way for the community and the environment.
“We know what a great job they’re doing but it’s great to have this recognised by this independent verification.”
Our progress at Llanfyllin was recently captured on camera with this bird’s eye views! It is the latest in a series of contracts we’ve delivered for Powys County Council and in Mid Wales.
