We have completed our latest successful project for Powys County Council.
The adaptation of the former Oldford Road Nursery and Infants School in Welshpool included creating an Integrated Family Centre to provide practical space and support for the community.
The former school was left vacant in December 2020 when pupils moved into the new Welshpool Church in Wales Primary School (which we proudly completed). The newly renovated facilities have created refurbished office spaces, a functional space for a family centre, and provided added space for an established nursery centre.
We also extended the car park to accommodate more visitors and improved accessibility both inside and outside. The benches created during our skill-building Build-a-Bench event will take pride of place outside the centre.
This fantastic new facility has provided a space that supports families’ learning, social care, and health needs that can offer support groups, training programmes, and family support.
