One of the youngest members of our team has been getting some hands-on experience of construction life from one of our most senior site managers.
Emma Yarwood, an apprentice in our accounts department, has been spending time on one of our sites in Welshpool to learn more about construction from Elwyn Preece, who has come out of retirement to work on the new project.
One of the jobs she learned more about was setting bolt boxes, the fixings on which the steel frame of the new building will sit.

“It was great to see one of the youngest and the oldest members of our team working together. The knowledge that someone like Elwyn has is so vast, it’s imperative that we pass that down the generations. This ultimately helps us to build a strong foundation for the future of Pave Aways.”
