We recently hosted a construction student from Shrewsbury Colleges Group to give him a wider understanding of the industry and the chance to get some work experience.
Josh, who has an interest in architecture, spent time with our architect and design manager Keeley to learn more about her role – they are pictured on site at the new Welshpool Primary School that we are building for Powys County Council.
We are firmly committed to encouraging the next generation of construction workers into the industry. We have an active apprenticeship programme and are members of the 5% Club, a national movement committed to investing in new talent. Fifteen per cent of our current workforce are apprentices or trainees.
