We recently fielded two teams in a fundraising day for the Shropshire-Staffordshire-Cheshire Blood Bikes charity at Arscott Golf Club.
The event raised more than £1,700 for the charity, which provides a rapid response service for vital blood products between hospitals in Shropshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire – three counties in which we work.
The standard of our golf was, in some cases, questionable but we redeemed ourselves by donating a raffle prize of a spa day for two at Carden Park in the new £10m luxury facility we’re currently building that will open in January.
