Pave Aways has joined an elite band of builders after gaining Constructionline Gold accreditation.
We have been certified by Constructionline – the UK’s largest certified pre-qualification database – for many years. It is used by more than 60 per cent of local authorities and aims to improve efficiencies for buyers and suppliers in the construction industry.
But we have recently been awarded its Gold membership, which offers an increased level of scrutiny and assurance for our clients on top of the existing Constructionline mandate.
Many organisations in the public sector including Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin Councils require construction companies to have attained this level before granting tenders.
Constructionline aims to simplify and speed up the procurement procedure. Suppliers like us have to complete PAS 91, a standardised prequalification questionnaire developed by the British Standards Institute, which reduces the need to complete a variety of different documents for different clients.
To achieve Gold status we had to undergo a number of additional checks including proving our credentials for environmental management, quality management and equal opportunities among other policies. We were also assessed against the Safety Schemes In Procurement (SSIP) for our health and safety protocols.
Managing Director Steven Owen said: “To achieve Constructionline Gold status indicates the robust policies we have in place across all aspects of the business and clearly sets out the added value that we offer our clients, our contractors, our suppliers and our workforce.
“Our Business Development Director Paul Moran has worked hard to achieve this accreditation for Pave Aways and it is testament to his hard work that we have been awarded this prestigious status.”
