We have added new contracts to our education portfolio after successfully winning tenders for two exciting projects.
We will be carrying out a £500,000 refurbishment of toilets and changing rooms at Welshpool High School for Powys County Council this summer. Work should be completed by the start of the new school term.
And at Shrewsbury School we’ve been appointed as main contractor for the redevelopment of its Ashton Theatre.
The £2.3m scheme involves the refurbishment of the existing theatre and the construction of an extension to form a new entrance and lobby together with studio spaces for workshops, dance and practice on a mezzanine level.
We have worked with the school before – constructing its flagship academic building Hodgson Hall in 2015 – so we are very pleased to be renewing our working relationship and look forward to building the foundation for an exciting future for the school and its arts provision.
